Pālamanui — Diversity, Community, Opportunity
The vision of Pālamanui, a new West Hawai‘i destination for residents and visitors alike, was born in 2004. While the ensuing years brought numerous challenges, our dedication remained undaunted. Honoring Hawai‘i’s past, present and future, we are committed to thoughtful leadership in community design, environmentally respectful planning, outreach to diverse stakeholders, collaboration with the University of Hawai‘i and, ultimately, a roadmap to new residential, recreation, business and higher learning opportunities.
Pālamanui is backed by the seasoned expertise of Pālamanui’s partners Hunt Development Group and Charles R. Schwab. Funded in part via $20MM in design, construction and infrastructure investments from Pālamanui, the permanent new Hawaii Community College higher education facilities and academics will serve as the heart of Pālamanui, and help deliver on a dream for all of West Hawai‘i.
